UK and international trade unionists are protesting outside the Nespresso CafĂ© in London’s Knightsbridge today (Wednesday 13 October 2010) as part of a global campaign targetting the multinational company.
The demonstration revolves around widespread concerns over the treatment of Indonesian workers at NestlĂ©’s NescafĂ© factory in Panjang.
Protesters from the TUC (Trades Union Congress) and the International Union of Food Workers (IUF) will be handing out Stop Nespressure postcards to customers popping in to the Nespresso Boutique in Beauchamp Place for their morning coffee.
